I haven't used the microphone yet, so no opinion on that. Very good sound quality.
as for the mic its okay not great.Audio Output : 2/5Mic Input : 4/5 you can get a better quality headset for cheaper than this one. I purchased this headset because of the price plus other reviews of the product from others. Sound output for a lack of words isn;t great at all.
Been using them all day today and they feel great, nice and light. The mic works well too,and is encased in metal so im not as worried about breaking. Not Fatalty quality, but for the price you just cant go wrong.Definitely get these [.]. Comfort wise they are good, the first day i had them my head hurt like crazy, but since i had already had a headache i don't believe that was yapsters fault. I needed a headset for using Google voice and playing BF2,and this is awesome for doing those things. My music sounds great, they thump nicely, and its all quite clear.
Only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that sometimes after awhile while wearing these your ears hurt and you need to take them off for awhile but other than that, perfect for gaming or listening to music ect. These arrived on time and work great. Has a nice adjustable mic.
So hearing the sounds around you can be somewhat difficult. I can wear it for hours and forget I have it on. You can plug in just one or both, depending on your needs.Just make sure you have a mic and headphones port on your computer, the small round ones. That can be a positive as well, though, since it blocks out other noises.Over all, this is a great uncomplicated device. If I just need the mic, I can unplug the headphone jack from the port and have my computer's sound come through the speakers. This does not come with a USB hook up.
It comes with a two pronged hook-up, for the microphone port and the headphone port. The sound is great, and the microphone seems to work well for my gaming needs. One tiny negative would be that it encloses your ears completely. I'm personally happy about that. The mic still functions. It's very comfortable, unlike some headphones. I plugged it in, and it worked. It frees up my other two USB ports.
(I don't know the technical term). If I just want to listen to music, I can use the headset alone.
